  • Why should I book using this website?

    By booking using this website you are dealing directly with Lake Inn Motel, which gives you more control over your booking.

  • What is your check-in procedure?

    Check-in time is at 2 PM while check-out time is at 10 AM. You may check in from 1 PM until 8 PM (can vary to 6 PM) at the reception. Late check-in must be arranged before 6 PM if required.

  • Do you have parking?

    Yes, every room has a parking space. 

  • Are your rooms non-smoking?

    Yes, all premises at Lake Inn Ballarat are non-smoking.

  • Do you have a restaurant?

    City Oval Hotel, which is next door to the Lake Inn Ballarat. 

  • What is your Cancellation Policy?

    *For bookings made via phone or our website - 48-hour notice is required. Cancellations within 48 hours of arrival will be charged 1-night accommodation.


    * For bookings made via other websites (Booking.com, Expedia etc) Please refer to their cancellation policy. 


    *Group bookings require a 14-day notice for cancellations. Cancellation within 14 days will incur a loss of deposit.


  • What is Breakfast option?

    The nearby Racer Bar & Café and The Ballarat Yacht Club provide great breakfast.

  • Is guest laundry available?

    Yes, washer and dryer are available in the guest laundry room.

  • How do I guarantee by booking?

    Credit card details are required to secure room booking or a $200 cash bond.

  • Are there any extra fees I should know?

    • Late checkouts must be arranged at check-in. A late checkout fee is $20 to 11 AM and $40 to 12 PM and a full night fee after 12 PM.
    • Breakfast meals are at extra cost, the menu is available at reception.
    • EV charging on-site occurs at a fee of $20 per day per EV.
    • Guide dogs are welcome but incur an extra room cleaning fee of $30 per stay.
